Back in the summer of 2010, I discovered Avental Kitchenware at our local Rib Fest. The first thing that caught my eye was Sandy’s (the owner) rockabilly outfit and it has been history ever since. Not only did we share a common interest in clothing, she made beautiful retro/vintage inspired aprons! I HAD to have one since baking is a big passion of mine.
Whether you like cupcakes, skulls, cherries, Elvis or animal print, you will find something to suit your personality. Each apron is hand made and exquisite quality for such a reasonable price! Avental Kitchenware was featured on the show Bitchin’ Kitchen worn by the host Nadia G.
Not only can you shop for aprons on the Avental site…there are SHOES!!! Bettie Page, Penthouse & Ellis shoes are available to order. I have purchased the Jane & Bettie Page Jin babydoll shoes which are staples in any Retro/Pin Up wardrobe.
This is one of my recent cake creations, made for Sandy’s 30th birthday!
Ladies it is time to get back in the kitchen and look sexy while doing it!
