Meet Miss Amelia!

The Amelia in Blue Floral from Pin Up Girl Clothing was on the top of my list for their Black Friday sale. I had to have this dress purely because of the beautiful floral print they chose to make it in. I loved it in the Dee Dee dress but found the cut was not quite my style. The Amelia was named after Laura Byrnes mother and inspired from a 1960’s photograph of her.

Available in XS-2X in blue floral & black. Sold with a matching jacket – MSRP $142USD.

Based on the size chart, I went with a medium knowing it would be a bit snug in the hip area since mine are 41 inches and owning so many pieces from PUG in this size. Surprisingly, it was quite snug all over! I recommend that you to size up in this dress, I cannot wear it without some serious shapewear. I should have exchanged it for a large but decided to keep the medium to try to make it work and hope the material will give with more wear.

With matching navy jacket

The cut and fit is truly elegant. It is made from a thick cotton material with little to no stretch. The matching jackets is very well made but not my cup of tea to be honest. It also comes with a removable ruched belt with snap closures to help cinch in your waist for an hourglass silhouette. Since the medium is small on me, the belt is quite snug. In the photos you will see some wrinkles but that is only because I did not have a chance to steam it yet.

Amelia dress sans jacket

The Amelia is perfect for so many affairs! Work, a night out, Sunday brunch, or even bridal/baby showers.

If you love the blue floral print, it is now available in a swing & pencil skirt along with the Dee Dee dress.
