Strawberry Delight

I have been beyond excited to share my latest discovery…Glamour Bunny! Based in the UK, Gerry Roxby is the woman behind the brand since 2009. Glamour Bunny is rapidly gaining popularity all over the world with celebrities like Dita Von Teese being photographed in several of her creations. Designed with the classic elegance of the 50’s for women with curves!

With several items on my wishlist, the Strawberry Cream Dress was an instant delight!

Available in XS to XL – MSRP £80.00/$99USD

Trying new brands of clothing is always a gamble when it comes to sizing. I noticed the Glamour Bunny size chart seemed to be more generous in the hip area compared to most vintage inspired clothing. This definitely pleased me since my hourglass figure seems to always put me in between sizes. I went with a Medium in the Strawberry Cream dress as my bust(36) and waist(29) fit exactly to the chart measurements. Success! The Medium fit like a glove and requires no alterations which is a huge bonus.

The Strawberry Cream dress features a delicate sweetheart neckline, detachable halter straps and swing skirt. A hot detail is definitely the hidden pockets, they are such a great perk. Made from a high quality soft cotton…ideal for those hot summer months. The bust features plastic boning for extra structure for a perfect bust enhancing look. They did not miss any details in this dress! I must also highlight that the quality of Glamour Bunny products is incredible, definitely worth every penny.

Be prepared to receive many compliments while wearing your Glamour Bunny dresses, you will be turning heads every time! Pair the Strawberry Cream dress with a pair of pumps, kitten heels or ballet flats…versatile for any occasion. The length was perfect, no petticoat required.

One word of caution, do not use the steam setting on your iron as I found there was some very slight color transfer from the red onto the beige bust area (which I was able to safely remove). Follow the wash instructions very carefully and do NOT use warm water! An old trick I have used in the past to prevent color bleeding is to soak the garment in ice cold water with salt. It will help set the dyes and stop any transfer. I haven’t done it with this dress yet but I may before washing it for the first time.

If you are asking where to buy Glamour Bunny, the answer is simple. You can purchase directly from their site with reasonable international rates or head over to JBR Clothing as well. They will be stocking many more styles in the near future, we are all waiting on their most popular styles to be restocked. I am anxiously awaiting the Dita in navy and Audrey in royal blue.

Check out the full line of Glamour Bunny which include dresses, separates, handbags and jewelry. Stay tuned for more product reviews coming very soon!
