Feel Like A Billion Dollars!

After doing a little wardrobe reevaluation in the spring, I noticed there was a lack of solid staples and did not own a go to “little black dress”. The first style that came to mind in hopes to fill the void was the Stop Staring Billion Dollar Baby Dress that I had seen on many celebrities and always lusted over on the JBR Clothing website. Oddly enough I skipped the black and went straight for the rich red as it screamed my name.

Available in Sizes XS to 3X in Red, Black, Pink, Dove Grey & Aquamarine. – MSRP $135USD

If you have read my previous Stop Staring reviews, I always have to mention their sizing is very consistent. Following their size chart, I fit perfectly into the Large comfortably (Bust 36, Waist 29, Hips 41). The Billion Dollar Baby Dress features cap sleeves and wrap twist bust and bodice suitable for all sizes. The side rushing is perfect to conceal any trouble tummy area while not losing the form fitting silhouette. Made from Stop Staring’s famous millennium stretch bengaline to hug your every curve.

Since the material is ultra curve hugging, I suggest to pair it with your Rago 1294 Girdle for a sleek silhouette. The rushing definitely conceals the shapewear perfectly and no one will know your little secret. The Billion Dollar Baby Dress falls just below the knee, no need to hem even at 5ft 4inches. The only alteration required was to take up the shoulders as I have a short torso and quite narrow up top. This stopped it from sliding off my shoulders. For anyone else, it should fit well right off the rack.

Be ready to go out for a night on the town with this knock out dress! Pair it with your favorite platform pumps and accessories. It will become your little black dress for all occasions and don’t be surprised if you end up with a Billion Dollar Baby Dress in every color! Be prepared to receive many compliments and be the center of attention as this dress does not go unnoticed in a crowd. This style is even suitable for those non vintage lovers as it is figure flattering to all shapes and sizes.

There is a long list of celebrities that have been spotted wearing the Billion Dollar Baby Dress…and now you can too!  The most recent sighting was on New Girl worn by the lovely Zooey Deschanel.

I can definitely foresee adding another to my wardrobe staples in the near future…I still need a little black dress after all. Another fabulous wardrobe staple to add to your collection.

  1. I have a similar red dress from Pin Up Girl Clothing and I love that it hugs your curves as it does yours. I will definitely try out a girdle to smooth away the rest. You look fabulous and you will turn some heads on a night out.

  2. I am considering buying this dress & would like to know if the material (bengaline) is like a jersey or knit frabic. By the way, the dress looks espectacular on you. Thx for taking your time to reply.

    • It’s neither jersey or knit fabric. It’s more like a thick firm like synthetic material with lots of stretch. If you haven’t touched bengaline before, it’s hard to describe. Definitely holds its shape and high quality. Thank you for the lovely compliment 🙂
